Exploring Conversion to Judaism--a major life decision.

 

It is the process, though, rather than the ceremony that makes Conversion to Judaism a truly meaningful experience.

 

It is definitely possible to find Rabbis who will "do conversions" much "faster" (I would say more hastily) than me.  I believe that they are doing their clients a disservice by not giving them a thorough enough foundation to live a meaningful life as a Jew.

 

The program of conversion I utilize is thorough, award-winning, and uniformly attested to be highly fulfilling.  At congregations where I have served as Rabbi, I have often invited people who have gone through conversion in other situations to dialogue with those people working with me.  Invariably, those who went through conversion with another process have reflected: "I wish I had had a process like this when I was converting!"
