Weddings:

Do not let money be the primary reason you choose your Rabbi.
Particularly in these difficult times--we can ALWAYS work something out.

Ceremony:  Standard fees: sliding scale, $1000-$3000

Decision of fee is left completely up to the couple within above guidelines.
I handle wedding fees this way because of the vast difference in
financial realities for each couple and the scope of each wedding.
One guideline couples often use is 7.5% of the wedding's cost
                    (e.g. $15,000 total wedding cost = $1125 Clergy fee)

Discounted fees can be discussed for those in financial need.

*assumes three 45-50 minute prep sessions
*couple is responsible for reasonable and actual travel expenses
for weddings beyond the San Francisco & Monterey Bay Areas
$750 non-refundable deposit due at time wedding is booked
balance due one week before the wedding

Calistoga, Clear lake, Bodega Bay, Pt Reyes, Gold Country, etc

Add 1 night's lodging for 2 people to the above ceremony fee

Destination Weddings:  No fee for the wedding itself since

there are usually substantial travel expenses involved.
Also included for free is one or two 1-hour programs for your group
about Judaism in the area of your wedding
(for example, History of the Jews of Mexico for a wedding in Cancun).
The couple is expected to provide 2 round trip plane tickets
(we will work together to find lowest possible cost)
and a minimum of 3 nights lodging at the hotel the guests are using
            or any middle-of-the-road hotel.

Conversion

There is no fee for conversion to Judaism.
Prospective converts are welcomed with open arms.

Conversion to Judaism does require educational and spiritual exploration and preparation.
This preparation may be obtained in numerous ways from numerous sources.

Usually the best way to engage in this exploration is to join a physical synagogue near you.
However, I am happy to provide services to those people for whom being part of a physical synagogue is not realistic.

For people who choose to utilize my educational and spiritual services--similar to most physical synagogues--I do charge for individualized study services which may be a typical part of exploring conversion to Judaism.
click here for fees related to study.

Also similar to most synagouges, these fees can be adjusted in the case of financial need, as do everything I can to ensure that financial circumstances should never be a barrier to Jewish life.
